MTP(16) TO MDC BREAKOUT ASSEMBLY (also called a fan-out or harness cable) is a high-density fiber optic assembly used to transition from a single 16-fiber connector to multiple individual VSSF MDC duplex connectors. It is designed primarily for the transition from duplex applications to high-speed parallel optical applications.
High-quality MTP® and MDC® connectors provide very low insertion loss and reliable long-term support for high-speed network applications.
Can be used for connecting both inside the rack and between the racks of the row.
